Bosch OE Fine Wire Platinum Spark Plugs feature a specially engineered, yttrium enhanced ground electrode that provides 2X longer service life compared to standard copper plugs. A unique 360 degree, continuous laser welded fine wire platinum firing pin design delivers better corrosion resistance, ignitability, and performance. The precision engineered, angled ribbed insulator design keeps flash-over causing oil, grime, and debris out of the spark plug wire or coil on plug boot, ensuring electrical energy goes into the spark plug - not around it – preventing potentially damaging misfire. Premium nickel-plated rolled threads provide maximum resistance to corrosion - ensuring the spark plug removes easily from the cylinder head without galling - and does not require anti-seize during installation - saving time. All Bosch OE Fine Wire Platinum Spark Plugs are pre-gapped at the factory and ready to install right out of the box - gap adjustment prior to installation is not required.
